Gilles Belleau
Secretary-Treasurer
Originally from the province of Québec, Gilles Belleau has worked in municipal services in the province of New Brunswick for over 30 years. Currently, he is the secretary-treasurer of the organizing committee.
“The CMA is much more than a big party; it’s a time to raise awareness of the importance of our Acadian culture. This culture is lived in Atlantic Canada differently today than it was in 1994. The affiliation between Southeastern New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island is natural and will grow stronger during this event.”
Gilles is fully aware of the positive spinoffs that were the result of the first Congrès mondial in 1994.
