In 2019, each of the 20 host municipalities will have its own special day to hold activities in their community. The first part of the Congrès mondial acadien will take place in Prince Edward Island from August 10 to 15. It will then move to Southeastern New Brunswick from the afternoon of August 15 until August 24. An action-packed, diversified program is already being planned for each of the municipalities, brimming with activities relating to culture, folklore, history, food and arts from their little corner of Acadie.
