Christine sees the Congrès mondial as a stepping stone for the region and for Acadie.
“In 1994, the Congrès mondial’s focus was mostly on genealogy. People discovered or rediscovered their roots. It was an important milestone that enabled us to become more open to the world. I think that this Congrès mondial’s legacy will be just as important.”
Christine also believes that this event will allow us to discover the host region’s many treasures, from its biggest cities to its smallest villages.
