Annie has always dreamed of a career in music, this passion was passed on to her by her maternal grandfather. A native of Maisonnette in New Brunswick, Canada, the Acadian had been singing for several years before participating in the TV show Star Académie 2005, where she went to the women’s grand final. Thanks to her captivating and reassuring voice, and to the true complicity that unites her to her musicians, Annie Blanchard transports the public into a real oasis of folk and country rock, and makes her fan meet her musical universe tinged with childhood memories and tributes. Through her poignant interpretations, she reveals herself, in all simplicity, as a unique artist.
