CMA2019 15aout 600x600July 15, 2019, Moncton, N.-B. – The Congrès mondial acadien 2019 is proud to announce that the National Acadian Day celebrations, held on August 15, will be offered free of charge to all who wish to participate.
 
“Offering the National Acadian Day celebrations at no charge has always been an objective of the organizing committee and, thanks to effective planning and team management, we can make this event available to everyone. From families, to youth, and people from near and far, we want everyone to join us and take part in this celebration,” says Claudette Thériault, Chair of the CMA 2019.
 
A full day of activities will begin in Miscouche, Prince Edward Island, and will conclude in Dieppe, New Brunswick with the big National Acadian Day Show.
 
Schedule of the day:

10 a.m.: Flag raising at Miscouche church
 
10:30 a.m.: Mass at Miscouche church

11 a.m.: Unveiling of National Historic Site plaque 
Our Lady of the Assumption Cathedral of Moncton
 
12 p.m.: “Le début de la fête” at Place 1604 in Dieppe
15th finale of Accros de la chanson, contest organized by the Fédération des jeunes francophones du Nouveau-Brunswick. 
In the afternoon: Caroline Savoie - Thomé Young - DJ Lu

5 p.m.: Official ceremony, National Acadian Day

5:55 p.m.: Le Grand Tintamarre
