Economic Outlook
Working Together for Greater Prosperity

The economic summit, piloted by RDÉE NB in collaboration with RDÉE IPE, will be held on August 21 and 22 in the Moncton/Dieppe region. The event will provide participants with an unparalleled business opportunity, promoting the establishment of partnerships and alliances between Francophone entrepreneurs from New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, and other provinces or countries participating in the CMA 2019. The objective of the two-day summit is to increase trade between provinces and countries, promote business matchmaking, and strengthen French as a language of business.

Youth Event
Youth at the heart of the CMA 2019

The CMA 2019 youth event will be held from August 14 to 17 in Prince Edward Island and in New Brunswick. For four days, 200 young people aged 12 to 18 from all backgrounds will get together in the host region. Whether you’re from Prince Edward Island, New Brunswick, the Atlantic provinces, elsewhere in Canada, or even another country, you can participate! Acadians, Francophones, Francophiles, newcomers – everyone is invited!

On the agenda: numerous workshops on various subjects, participation in the big CMA concerts and the National Acadian Day Tintamarre, and much more! The CMA 2019 youth event also means meeting new people, experiencing memorable moments, and engaging in the future of Acadia. Registrations will be launched in the fall of 2018.

Women’s Summit
Feminism and Gender Equality in Acadie

The Women’s Summit has been an important part of the Congrès mondial acadien since the beginning. The Regroupement féministe du Nouveau Brunswick (RFNB), in collaboration with Actions Femmes Î.-P.-É., among others, will organize the sixth edition of this event, which will be held on August 11 and 12, 2019 in Prince Edward Island. Under the theme L’Acadie (re) pensée: le féminisme et l’égalité des genres en Acadie [Acadie revisited: feminism and gender equality in Acadie], the Women’s Summit will provide an excellent opportunity for women and men, young and old, as well as other engaged parties to sit down together and exchange ideas. In 2019, come and help us reflect on crucial issues during this event, which promises to be participatory, dynamic, and inclusive.

Other activities, artists, and partners will be announced in the year to come, along with details about the process leading up to the conference component of the Congrès mondial acadien 2019.
